HUB Festival 2009– taking over the city!

Are you ready for two days of funky break-dancing, beat boxing, mad tricks and mighty fine music?

You’re invited to the UK’s biggest and best free urban youth festival; HUB Festival 2009. From 23rd – 24th May (11am-7pm), extreme sports fans, skaters, bboys, bgirls and bands will take over Wellington Dock, Liverpool for a bank holiday weekend with a funky urban twist.

Amateur competitions, free promos, aftershow parties, loads of prize give-aways and legends in BMX, Skateboarding, Break dancing and Beat Boxing will all add to the mix.

We’ve also launched “HUB Life” and “HUB Night”, the brand new Fringe Festival element so you can live, love and breathe from 23rd – 31st May in some of the funkiest venues across the city including FACT, TATE, LEAF, NOVAS, Zanzibar, The Picket and The Bluecoat plus many more…

Animal Relentless Bike Tour

The Animal Relentless Bike Tour starring mountain bike legend and world champion Martyn Ashton and Sam Pilgrim from DMR Bikes, Europe’s No.1 mountain bike freestyle show, will be kicking off their campaign at this years Liverpool Hub Festival. The show has gone from strength to strength in the six years since its conception, and with the introduction of bigger and bolder equipment for 2009 should be a spectacle not to miss.

“NO JUDGING, JUST STRAIGHT OUT DANCE WAREFARE”

The UK’s number 1 BBoy festival event, where the cream the UK and international Scene converge on the city of liverpool for a weekend of high impact, dynamic all out dancefloor warfare.   One of the most popular features of the HUB Festival returning for it’s forth year running.  Competitors are travelling from holland, Spain, Germany and France to test the skills of the UK.  Winners will recieve the bragging rights and cash prizes.”
