In just 8 years, HUB Festival has become established as the UK’s largest and fastest growing youth festival celebrating the very best of urban and extreme sports culture, attracting over 23,000 14-25year olds over 2 days.

HUB is a vibrant urban mix of art, music and extreme sports staged at Otterspool Park, overlooking the famous River Mersey only a short distance from the city’s iconic world heritage waterfront showcasing a variety of elements including Break-Dancing, Music, Skateboarding, BMX, In-line Skating, Graffiti, Exhibition Space, Urban Retail Village and LED Screens for commercial advertising. We work with industry professionals to ensure we’ve created a really special annual event for our target audience. In recognition of these efforts HUB Festival won the ITMA Bronze Award for “Best Outdoor Event” in both 2005 & 2006. More recently HUB 2008 was voted “Best Public Outdoor Event of the Year” by the National Outdoor Events Association.

The event attracts £150K’s worth of positive media coverage in local media and has more recently received significant positive coverage in prominent national and European skateboarding media.

The festival regularly achieves hugely positive responses from visitors, exhibitors, press, VIP’s and celebrities, and always proves to be an excellent co-operative venture between the public and private sector.
