Does your band fancy its chances of performing at the UK’s largest free urban youth festival?
Then why not apply for HUB Festival 2010 and be part of a vibrant event of music, break dancing, bmx, skateboarding, grafitti & extreme sports in which you can perform to 23,000 people!

This year HUB Festival has joined forces with Streetwaves 2010. This will see the city’s brightest, talented and most ready acts battling it out at heats before a panel of industry experts. The winners will get the chance to perform at the festival.

And that’s not all – This year there year there will be opportunities for the successful Streetwaves bands to perform at some of Liverpool’s hottest music events like Sound City in May and Liverpool Music Week in October/November. There will also be the chance to attend a high profile conference with international experts within the industry. Keep logging on for news about more exciting opportunities for applicants.

Terms and Conditions

  • Application process closes midnight 31st March 2010
  • Available to attend 1 of 2 heats taking place mid April. Exact dates/locations still to be confirmed
  • Applicants must be available to play HUB Festival on either 29/05/10 or 30/05/10
  • All band members must be aged between 14 and 25.
  • Applicants must be able to play a minimum of 30 minutes.
  • Bands must have a Merseyside postcode to enter.
  • Due to the volume of applications, only bands chosen for the line up will be notified in writing week commencing 12th April 2010.
