Liverpool City Council has joined forces with Liverpool Sound City to attract the UK’s hottest up and coming bands who will wow the festival-goers. So now, not only will there be the usual mix of awe inspiring BMX, skater and boarder tricks on display, but there’ll be a fantastic soundtrack to go with it!
The event, which takes place on 21 and 22 May, will play host to a brand new Liverpool Sound City Stage, where the award winning Funeral For a Friend will headline the festival along with The Blackout. Young Guns, Mayday Parade and We are in the Crowd will also be playing throughout...

Here at HUB HQ we've been working away on the planning for HUB 2011 and are pleased to be able to announce that next years event will take place on 21-22 May 2011, Otterpool Prom. HUB 2011 will see a massive shake-up from extreme rides to some of the biggest names performing. Details on how to apply for the main stage line-up will be released in the New Year. The MOBO Awards, Liverpool City Council Streetwaves and Africa Oye Touring & Trading have teamed up to produce the MOBO Streetwaves Competition!
The 5 lucky acts selected will get the chance to perform alongside MOBO Tour's Unsung artists Marvell, RoxXxann, Mike Hough, G Town Desi, R.I.O and Liverpool's very own KOF, at the MOBO Streetwaves One's To Watch showcase on Monday 18th October at Novas Liverpool CUC, as part of Industry Takeover at the Mobo Academy.

Good news for the groupies out there
